Arlington ARC Sponsored Technician License Class
The Arlington ARC will be conducting a Technician License Class in March (see dates below). The class will be conducted over six evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and attendance at ALL SIX classes is mandatory. The Technician license exam will be administered during the last class on March 25.
Prerequisites:
Buy and read the following book: Gordon West's Technician Class Book based on the new Element 2 Question Pool effective July 1, 2006, valid through June 30, 2010 (see it here, http://www.w5yi.org/catalog_details.php?pid=51&sort=4). You need to bring this book with you to class and you need to read through it before the class starts.

MCA Hospital, 3301 Matlock Road, Arlington, TX.
Date and Time:
Tuesday March 9, Thursday March 11, Tuesday March 16, Thursday March 18, Tuesday March 23, and Thursday March 25. All classes are from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

City of Arlington conducting CERT Training
The city of Arlington will be conducting CERT Training beginning Tuesday March 2nd at 6:00pm. Classes will meet at the Arlington Fire Training (5501 Ron McAndrew, Arlington, TX). For those of you that are attending for the first time, there will be training materials available. All you need is to bring a pen to take notes. Help us to Improve the Arlington ARC
Even great things can be improved on. I would like to see our club grow and I desire to see us attract not only more members but younger members as well. Along these lines, we need your help to spread the word about this terrific group of Hams. And we need your suggestions on how to make the club more interesting and fun.
